Aliza Vellani bio

Aliza Vellani is a Canadian actor and TV actress based in British Columbia. Vellani gained fame for her recent role in Netflix series Sweet Tooth as Rani Singh. Aliza is an actress from Vancouver with more than ten years of experience both in Canada and the United States. Her credits include the cult show Little Mosque on the Prairie CBC, The X-Files '(FOX) and Marvel's Super Hero Adventures'(Disney+). Nora Allen is the child of Barry Allen and Iris West Allen. The couple was married in Central City between 2019-2024. Nora Allen, her deceased paternal grandmother, was the source for her name. In 2024, Barry disappeared after a battle with Reverse-Flash and never returned and left Nora to be cared for with her mom. Vellani, the child of Indian immigrants to East Africa, was born in Vancouver. As a student at York House School, she began her studies early. Vellani was awarded the BC and National Istar Awards of Arts and Culture for 2007 and in 2008. Vellani pursued her acting, voice and dancing training after graduating high school. During The Flash's midseason finale we learned that Nora was collaborating with Eobard Thawne, known as the Reverse Flash on her parents' behalf. Vellani was supposed to study integrative media while at OCAD U, however she put off her plans in order to play the role of. Marvel turned into her college education.
